“The Vias”, an iconic grouping of cobblestone streets located in historic Winter Park, is lined with sprawling estates each one boasting its own unique architectural design. Via Tuscany is one of the exclusive stately avenues that provides the scenic route to getting in and out of Winter Park. I was truly delighted when Ansana Interior Design and Charles Clayton Homes contacted me to photograph this stunning Mediterranean whole-home renovation they recently completed. It was truly beautiful.

During our walk through to prepare for the photo shoot, I fell in love with the architectural details of the home. It boasted its own unique character with rotunda-like vaulted ceilings, high-end millwork, and absolutely perfect furnishings that lent to the beauty of the home. Striking lighting finishes and bold, yet sophisticated choices for wallpaper and seating were some of my absolute favorites. I photographed a mixture of wide shots paired with intimate details, something I do with any space I shoot when I can, giving it an editorial feel. Accent windows in the home allowed for the natural light to pour into the space, beaming perfect directional light onto the subject, showcasing the mood of the room.

The successful collaboration between these two industry leaders truly transformed this home into a piece of art. Ansana and Charles Clayton’s creative vision for this home really showcases their level of quality and understanding of what true modern elegance is.
