Behind the Lens with Coach on the Spot, Melissa Ross

Not too long ago, I had the opportunity to sit down with a wonderful business owner, Melissa Ross, to discuss the needs of Personal Brand Imagery for her business. Today, I wanted to provide you with a little insight from her on the process of working with me, as well as the results these images have had on growing her business. So let us dive in!

Before finding Abby Liga Photography, Melissa had hired a couple of website designers and had a few different website designs. She also had some professional photos taken, however at the time she hadn’t quite nailed down what she wanted to offer or what exactly her brand was all about. Melissa was looking for someone who would be able to pull all this together, clarify her vision and brand, and provide a beautiful portfolio of images that she could continue to pull from and share on social media and put on her website.

A little background about Coach on the Spot, Melissa Ross. “I am a career health & fitness professional who has worked in a lot of different settings and am blessed with having amazing experiences in this industry. At this time I’m focused on helping women live healthier and happier. I consider myself a warrior for healthy aging and at the core of my efforts with clients is building confidence, a positive mindset, and empowerment. I do this through 1-1 fitness training, coaching, healthy living programs & sharing on social media. Abby Liga Photography came as a recommendation from Dan Moroff, and I am so glad that I followed up on his recommendation!

Before meeting with Melissa, she mentioned she had some website designs she liked but did not love. She had some professional photos, but they weren’t telling the story behind what her brand is NOW. We were looking to mold everything together so she has imagery and a brand that relates directly to her business today.

We have now completed the Personal Branding Photo Shoot session and I followed up with Melissa to acquire feedback on her experience working with me as well as how these images have helped her business. Enjoy her responses below!

Q: What was the experience of working with me like?:

A: THE BEST!! From the moment I met you, I felt a great connection and we had fun while working together. You are so talented and creative and really helped me clarify and articulate my goals and made them and my brand all come to life on my website!

Q: How does having professional images make you feel?:

A: Professional, confident, strong, beautiful, and empowered!

Q: How has having these images made it easier to grow your personal brand and/or your business?:

A: So much easier. When I post on social media, I try to portray my work, professionalism, my life, and all the messiness of it too! The photos come in handy when promoting my healthy living programs and any number of posts or promotions I may do related to my business.

Q: What would things look like if you hadn’t hired a photographer?:

A: Amateur!! I got much more than professional photographs from you!

Q: How do you expect your personal brand and/or business to grow because of these images?:

A: I am very proud to share my website and my brand and this helps my business grow!
