I recently had the pleasure of shooting this mid-century modern home in the charming College Park neighborhood for Interior Appeal Magazine! This home was custom designed by homeowners Ken and Courtney Hazouri, and they really knocked it out of the park!
For Ken and Courtney, this was a labor of love and years of careful curation to create their midcentury dream home in College Park, FL.
The main living room was highlighted by a custom velvet tufted sofa, dreamt up by Courtney and made by Bespoke Furniture in Winter Park. Courtney topped off the one-of-a-kind sofa with the perfect Christian Lacroix pillows. The Milo Baughman cube chairs were a perfect find from an antique store. To top the design all off, they created custom storage doors inspired by blue velvet tufted walls in the hotel bar at Parker Palm Springs.
With all of the bright & bold colors throughout, famous artist’s original pieces, and so many varying metals in this home It was like living in a dream for creatives! A good Interior designer can transform any space giving it a life and a style of its own. I always say, each space has a story to tell, which is my approach when shooting interiors. In designing this CollegePark house, that’s just what Ken and Courtney Hazouri accomplished. I hope you enjoy all of the details and love put into this home just like I did!
