The day was finally here for Mary Beth and Justin and it couldn’t have been a more perfect wedding! And I was the lucky gal to document all of the beautiful happenings unfolding before my eyes for me to capture. Come along with me as I showcase some of their gorgeous wedding day highlights, the next 10 minutes of your life will not disappoint!
Meet Mary Beth…
the loveliest bride you’ll ever lay eyes on. My assistant Lyndsay and I met Mary Beth at The Cavalier Hotel, a stunning historic building where our jaws didn’t leave the floor until we left. When we walked into her bridal suite we could just sense Mary Beth’s energy and excitement, her day was finally here! And her details?…I’ll let you swoon over them yourselves.
And her adorable flower girls could’t help but be giggling over with excitement (quite like our Mary Beth) twirling around everywhere in their sweet dresses. I couldn’t help but think that they’re imagining their big day and all the frills and joy to come…so precious!
And of course we can’t forget Mary Beth’s lovely ladies (equally as ecstatic) and looking stunning in bold black dresses, such a classic choice.
Her Maggie Sottero wedding dress fit Mary Beth like a glove, she was sparkling from head to toe!
You could see the unconditional love her sweet parent’s have for their daughter. These moments below unfolded with such authenticity and emotion…something this mom and dad will remember and cherish forever.
A few stunning portraits of Mary Beth just before heading to the church…one of my favorite moments, so much excitement in her!
Meet Justin…
You couldn’t find a lovelier groom for Mary Beth. He hands down won best performance when seeing his bride walk down the aisle. Just wait for it!
And I truly believe you can tell how good a man is by how he treats his mother…Justin for the win!
A little bridal party fun! I was in love with the large french doors that opened up to the lawn at The Cavalier Hotel. So grandiose!
Off to the ceremony, red carpet and all! Move over Ms. Markle! *wink!
Like I said before, Justin has the reaction EVERY bride wants when they walk down the aisle. Priceless!
Just married!!
The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art posed for the PERFECT backdrop for their reception combining nature and architecture, resulting in a one-of-a-kind space filled with light and laughter. Mary Beth and Justin chose a classically elegant black, gold, and ivory palette with just the right amount of whimsy and charm. I couldn’t get enough of the adorable gelato cart and oversized lit letters that spelled “L-O-V-E” perfectly anchoring the party space.
Enter in Mr. and Mrs. Whitford!
Their live band Good Shot Judy gave an amazing performance from start to finish!
